Self-pay
As a Heilpraktikerin für Psychotherapie, I'm unfortunately not permitted to bill health insurers. You will therefore generally pay for therapy and coaching yourself. Some insurers subsidize Heilpraktiker services. Paying yourself does, however, bring the following advantages:
- Immediate help: You don't have to wait weeks or months for a therapy place. We can start promptly.
- No bureaucracy: No application, no expert assessment, no waiting list at the insurer.
- Confidentiality: No diagnosis is reported to or recorded by your health insurer. It stays entirely between us.
- Freedom of choice: You decide freely who you work with, instead of being tied to therapists contracted with the statutory insurers.
- Broader range of methods: I'm not limited to the standard procedures recognized by the insurers and can work in a body-oriented way, with trauma therapy, ego state work, and the Pantarei approach.
- Flexibility: We adapt the frequency and length of sessions to what you need right now, instead of to a rigid quota.
Sessions are self-pay; billing through statutory health insurance is not possible. Private insurers and supplementary plans sometimes reimburse the costs, depending on your plan. It's best to ask your insurer beforehand. You can cancel appointments free of charge up to 48 hours in advance; after that, I charge the full fee.
